Booking Terms & Conditions
Reservation : A booking becomes valid only upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total stay, with a minimum equivalent to one night, or a valid credit card guarantee. This deposit will be deducted from the final invoice.
Cancellation policy : In accordance with the rules governing hotel deposits, any cancellation or modification is possible up to 48 hours before arrival at 6:00 PM. After this deadline, the booking will be considered firm and non-refundable. For any late cancellation or shortened stay, the deposit will be retained.
Exception – Christmas and Winter school holidays : During Christmas and winter school holidays:
- The remaining balance of the stay must be paid 15 days before arrival.
- Bookings made less than 15 days before arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- No reservation can be guaranteed without full payment of the stay.
During these periods, any cancellation or modification is possible up to 15 days before arrival at 6:00 PM. After this deadline, the booking becomes firm and non-refundable. The full amount of the stay remains due.In case of cancellation, a €25 administration fee per room will be deducted from any refundable amount.
Arrival time : Confirmed bookings are held until 5:00 PM on the day of arrival. After this time, the room may be resold. We therefore recommend informing the hotel in case of late arrival.
Room availability : Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On departure day, rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM to allow housekeeping to prepare for the next guests. A luggage storage service is available so you can make the most of your arrival or departure day in Valberg.
Reception opening hours : The reception is open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For any arrival expected after 7:00 PM, we strongly recommend contacting the reception in advance.
Pets : We regret that pets are not allowed in the hotel in order to ensure the comfort and tranquillity of all our guests.
Remote credit card payments : Providing your credit card number orally or in writing constitutes authorisation to debit the agreed amount at the time of booking, in the same way as a bank cheque payment (French Court of Cassation, Civil Chamber 1, 19 October 1999, No. 1379). Our establishment is authorised by our bank to process remote credit card payments for deposit collection.
Breakfast : Breakfast is included exclusively for guests of Le Chastellan Hotel. No refund can be requested in case breakfast is not taken.
